Mark Twain's "The Apple Tree," under the direction of Bob West, won resounding applause and ran an extra night. Other lyceums featured Emlyn Will iams as Charles Dickens, Organist Richard Ellsasser, and the Gregg Smith Singers. Two operettas were presented by the Music Department and the Speech Department staged one-acts and readers' theaters throughout the year.
