JUNIOR FOOTBALL Little experience characterizes Jr. Wildcats season The Harding Academy Junior Wildcats, led by Coach David Elliott, suffered their first losing season in three years. Inexperience proved to be the Junior's problem since they only had one starter returning off last year's team. However, their hustle, spirit, and desire led them to a more successful season than their record indicates. Marc Showalter, Dan Brotherton, Tommy Carr, Earl Brown, Kevin Bullard, John Winters, Mike Pullara, and Doug Loftin played their last game as junior high football players.
