The Wildcals then advanced to the stale playoffs as the representalive of District 2·B, losing in the first round to Luxora by Ihe score of 12·7. Making up for their lack of size with Iremendous desire, Ihey defealed much larger opponents due to Iheir huslle and determination. Eighl players made the all·dislrict team. They were Tim Ramsey, Steven Tucker, Marc Muncy, Gary Beck, David Camp· bell, Jackie Alston, Steve Sexson, and Bruce Gunkel. David Campbell lied for outstanding lineman in the dis'triel, and Jackie Alslon tied for outstanding back in the district.
