., Club Beau Jim White Club Beau Jackie Alston KAPPA ALPHA THETA Club banquet, project fill year for KAT's The acceptance of six pledges began the new year for the KAT's. After an informal initiation and bunking party in Linda Campbell's home, a formal initiation was held in the home of Debra Beck. A Reader's Theatre presentation in keeping with the theme of Grecian Splendour provided entertainment for a winter banquet at BiU·s Restaurant. Each year under the supervision of sponsor Elsie Lynn, the club provides Christmas gifts [or a needy child at the Children's Colony at Conway. This year the entire Academy student body contributed money and clothes in carrying out this worthwhile project. The club beaux, Jim White and Jackie Alston, coached the girls to many victories in the club sports program. PREPARING for their banquet, KAT'S create decorations to represent Grecian splendour. 277
