MUSIC GROUPS High membership adds to chorus' successful year Under the direction of Ray A. Wright, the Academy A Cappella Chorus obtained a record membership of sixty-three people this year. Most of the new members, who had to become accustomed to the early morning rehearsals at 7:30, were incoming sophomores and new students. The chorus' performances included two appearances at the Harding College Annual Thanksgiving Lectureship and several chapel programs. In addition, a small group was selected from the chorus to entertai n at an American Legion Christmas dinner by singing Christmas carols, In addition to these activities, the chorus took two short tr ips and one long trip into surrounding areas, SINGING starts off each doy at the Academy as Mr. Wright directs morninQ rehearsals. 272 f-- I
