THIRD BETA CLUB Ulrey and Alston gain recognition with high grades The Beta Club is an honor society for students who maintain a grade point 0''( "90" or above for two consecutive six· weeks periods. This year thirty-five students made up the Academy chapter of the Beta Club. The club's proiects included the traditional purchase of a frame for the pictures of the senior class. They also attended an end-of-the-year breakfast where they elected officers for the 1972 year. The boy and girl in the Beta Club with the highest grade point are chosen each year to be honor students. The Academy's honor students for the 1970-71 school year are Ann Ulrey, with a 98.8 average, and Jackie Alston, whose average was 97.3. 268 Honor Student Ann Ulrey Honor Student Jackie Alston
