GATA Sunrise inspires Gatas during lakeside service Honored by receiving the Interclub Spirit Trophy the first time it was given, Gata proved their Bison support was strong. The Legion Hut was the site and John Burleigh and Edd Eason were the entertainment for their Christmas party. Saturday, October 3 was chosen for an early fall sunrise devotional around the lake at Camp Wyldewood. They purchased an electric blanket and boots for a fellow student who was not used to the winter weather. Gata received the award for winning the club Tug-o-War the previous spring during Track and Field Day. Other activities included 100% participation in the SA Dolly drive, a weiner roast on November 16 given by the pledges, and an April 17 banquet at Paul's Lamplighter Restaurant in Little Rock.
