EVENTS OF SPRING Faces of Harding College are anxious during Petit Jean Day Eager to find and anxious to know were characteristic attitudes of students during the unveiling of the 1969 Petit Jean. Editor Diane Hoagland presented to Dean Joseph Pryor the dedication copy of her book that featured the faces of Harding. S. A. president Ronnie Reeve crowned as queen of the Petit Jean, Miss Donna Deason. The eagerness and anxiousness came to high point at the end of the dedication ceremonies when students rushed to five spots on campus where the books were being distributed. Taking their yearbooks to a variety of locations the students found memories of a year gone by. The tenth consecutive All-American rating was awarded the 1969 Petit Jean by the Associated Collegiate Press. LOOKING for the faces of friends, students closely examine their copies of the annual and recall the post year's memories. 75
