BASKETBALL Conference basketball season sees action split into leagues The 1969-70 basketball schedule saw the ten ATC teams divided into two divisions or play. Ouachita Baptist, Arkansas Tech, Southern State, Hendrix and Ozarks made up division A while Henderson. Arkansas College~ Harding. Arkansas A&M and State College were in division B. Harding found AlC competition stiff as Ouachita and Henderson won their divisions with 16-2 and 15-3 records respectively. In the B division Harding was third. During the season there were three close games that would have put the Bisons in the four team playoff. A one point loss to Arkansas College. a 7476 defeat by Hendrix, and a 4-point victory by State College killed Harding'S opportunity for honors.
