Dockery, AMERICAN STUDIES Tour of Cowboy training area highlights excursion to Dallas For students in the American Studies program, the fall tour continued to be one of the major highlights of the year. Upon their arrival in Dallas the group visited the LTV Building and also received a guided tour through the IBM educational and training center. Later in the tour the members inspected the training area of the Dallas Cowboys and interviewed coach Tom Landry. In addition, the group toured the facilities of Braniff Airlines, the A.B.C. television center and General Motors assembly division. The spring tour carried the ensemble to Chicago. Centered around the theme, "Perspectives in the 70's", numerous speakers were invited to lecture on topics ranging from the Vietnam War to narcotics.
