SERVICE CLUBS Dactylology members attend deaf worship services weekly The Dactylology Club continued its weekly journey to Little Rock to help the Central congregation conduct its worship services for the deaf members. Each Thursday evening club members met to increase their proficiency in the deaf language. Arriving at school a week before most students, the Big Sisters prepared to make each new coed feel welcome. During the preceeding summer, they wrote letters to prospective coeds answering their questions about Harding. Operating under the auspices of the Women's Dorm Council, the Firemarshals were organized to assist in the orderly evacuation of the dorm in the event of a fire . The Men's Wing Counselors were formed to help run the men's dorms in an orderly fashion. DACTYLOLOGY. FRONT ROW: Shroades, Cross, Shofield, Roemer, Willard, Russell, Hutchens, Rivaire, Andrews.
