MUSIC GROUPS Singing groups begin working on new concert presentations After returning from a summer overseas tour, the A Cappella Chorus and the Belles and Beaux both immediately began working on entirely new shows for their performances this year. On November 14-16, the A Cappella Chorus spent the weekend at Abilene Christian College participating in the Christian College Choral Festival. Two weeks later, they took their annual fall tour, this year a six-state tour into the Northeast. In the spring, there was an extended nine-state tour, again up into the Northeast as far as New York and Pennsylvania. Numerous weekend performances were conducted at nearby congregations. The Belles and Beaux unveiled their new show, "A Song for All Seasons," during the lectureship after many long hours of rehearsal. During the semester break, they went on a tour of various southern cities and junior colleges. In an effort to help foreign missionaries conduct a more effective work, the Recording Chorus taped hymns in Chinese, German, and Italian . The Men's and Women's Ensembles performed during lectureship week with the A Cappella Chorus. While on tours, they performed each night during the concerts. WOMEN'S ENSEMBLE.
