Alpha Chi Promoting higher standards of scholarship by the recognition of studious habits and by properly emphas izing the advantages to be derived from superior intellectual attainment, tJ1e Alpha Chi National Honor Society was organized to include the scholarship chapters of various colleges and uni - versities in the nation. The Arkansas Eta chapter at Harding was adm itted into the National Society in 1957. This year 52 members were inducted into 1larding'S chapter.
