The Harding Academy Junior Wildca ts experienced their first winning season in several yea rs as they completed th e yea r with three wins and two losses. The Juni ors, guid ed by h ead coach Wilt Martin and assistant coach Bill Barden , managed to make up for a lack of s ize by di splaying good hustle and a strong determination to succeed. The junior boys provided their fan s and the school with several exciting momen ts throughout the season . The team was well -respected by th eir opponents for the spirit shown a nd the sportsma nship exhibited on th e play ing field. Six members of the junior high team were ninthgrader s this yea r and pl ayed junior football for th e last time. They were Dav id Campbell. Gary Beck. Kirk Sewell, Steven Tucker.
