Phi Gamma sweeps tournament in first year In the Speech Arts Tournament Feb . 23-24 Phi Gamma Delta's won the Pi Kappa Delta Foren sics trophy, tied for the Woodson-Harding-Armstrong Sweepstakes trophy, and fini shed second for the Alpha Psi Omega Drama tic Arts Trophy. The Phi Gamma Delta's organi zed thi s year in October with 22 charter member s. Eighteen pledges were added during initiation in November . Dinner overlooking the lake at the Red Apple PARADES are a good time to d isp lay w hat you ore proud of - for Phi Gamma Del ta it is club queen Nancy Hom. Inn made Phi Gamma 's fi rs t banquet a pleasure for those couples who a ttended March 15. Joe Moore and Jim Ross enterta ined the group with a medley of appropria te songs and ballads. Club members svmng into the h oliday spirit with a Christmas party a t Webb's barn . Second place was awa rded th e club 's entry in the Homecoming Parad e.
