TRACK Track team takes county easily and captures district meet title The tradition of excellence in track was continued as the 1966 Academy team won the White County meet with 99 Yz points and th e District 2B ch ampionship with 82 poi n ts . Phillip Elliott was high point man in the coun ty, scoring 24 points. In the district meet, Marty Thompson set a n ew sh ot put record of 47 '5" . James Bixler won the pole vault with a record h eight of 11 ' 11" . Determined senior lettermen provided a hustling leader ship.
