However, people are willing- - wi ll ing to give up weekend trips, precious study hours, sleep, hol idays and most important of all, themselves! I t is indeed gratifying to tJ'e regular staff members, when events crowd together too closely as they are prone to do on occasion, to be able to find friends who are always ready and willing to shoulder any part of the burden they can. Friends come in many sizes and shapes - there doesn ' t seem to be any particular physical characteristic that distinguishes them. Howcver, one thing is common to all of them, and that is that they are willing to face a challenging job without flinching. Some are members of the official staff, some are members of a sort of unofficial staff, and others are interested friends who have voluntclTed to work when things got desperate, but all have done a very demanding and often tedious job with a smile and a spiri t and a zest tJ,at has amazed and brightened the task of those of us who work more or less full time on the annual. We owe our thanks to all, from Dr. Joe to the youngest member of the staff, to our friends who have all made our last year the best and most rewarding ever.
