The Harding Academy trackmen, under the new coaching staff of Ed Higginbotham and Cliff Sharp, face the coming season with determination and their usual will to win. The Wildcats' high hopes rest on last year's returning lettermen. They arc Dick Berryhill, Bruce Henson, Jerry Moore, Cesar Leal, Mike Hedrick, James Bixler, and Freddie King. Miler Bruce Henson is back to run his last year for Harding, and many feel he will be more outstanding this year than last year. Bruce last year was a star attraction after he broke the state record for the mile, only to finish a close second in a photo finish at the State meet in Conway. During the 1964 season, the Wildcats won both the County and District track meets with case, and then took the State B meet "ith a large margin.
