Informal party takes Mexico was echoed in the Oege third function where hot chili and Spanish music created a "downsouth" atmosphere to the mid-winter festi vity. The couples dressed in Mexican costumes to add color and festivity to the occasion. Enthusiastic Gaylon Lamb sparked the club to many athletic victories by performing his role as Oege coach to a perfection. Gaylon was rewarded for his efforts with a new navy blue club blazer complete with the Oege emblem. New club members kept the club beau supplied with cakes. brownies, and cookies throughout the event ful pledge week. A "Slue Moon" shined over Bill 's Restaurant to cl imax the year with a March banquet. The Frccd-I1ardeman trio traveled all the way from Tennessee, to help set . the mood for the event. "Whi te elephant" gifts and Christmas carols highligh ted a Yuletide party at the home of the club sponsor, Barbara Barnes . OffICElS.
