Guys coach intramural sports teams and do all sorts of odd jobs for their favorite group of ladies while the gals bake cookies galore for club meetings and special occasions. Representing the men's clubs as their Petit Jean queen nominee is a privilege for the ladies. Christmas, birthdays, Valentine's day - all give perfect "excuses" for clubs to do something nice for their favorite . Beaux and queens are always able to find a good deed to do, also. While the ladies are not adept at coaching male intramural sports they are loyal supporters of the teams by regular game attendance. By the same right, guys excell in directing athletic activity and usually leave the "kitchen department" to their favorite ladies. Each club reserves the right to claim that its choice is the best and reveals this to others by the various ways they select to honor him or her - with a gift of appreciation and by giving them that "red carpet" treatment daily. Reaching the finals of the Petit Jean queen selection is an achievement toward which each "sweetheart" strives as the ultimate honor she can bestow on "her guys.
