Risinger. 234 The Key Club is dedica ted to serving Harding Academy by rai sing money for various facilities to improve the school building. Supervised by Mr. Mason, th e Key Club is sponsored by the local Kiwani s Club . The club started the year with several new members and plans for the purchase of a new trophy case, and worked hard all year to attain their goal. During the 1963 -64 school year the Harding Academy Junior Key Club took an active part in fund rai sing projects to better the school. Some of their projects inc! uded selling soap and distributing circulars. The Junior Key Club is also sponsored by the Sea rcy Kiwanis Club and supervi sed by Mr. Mason . The Pep Club's ma in goal is to arouse the sch ool spirit and support the team . This year the junior and senior cheerleaders helped lead the studen t body toward Lhi s goal. The spirit wa s attained by decorating th e halls before every game, supervi sing Homecoming ac tivities, and supporting the team at all games. The high point of the year was the Homecoming party held at the skating rink in the gym after the final football game.
