1960-1961 Yearbook

Our bodies are so designed tha t they will remain in operating condition for a long time without special efforts aside from the routine. Being in good physical condition, however, means more than that one is able to carry on normal bodily functions. From time to time extra attention is needed to insure that the body is kept in top running order. Happily, one can "get in shape" in several ways, and we can chose the avenue which offers the most to us. In intercollegiate athletics, in intramural sports, or in individual activity we can pursue physical development. Any program will affect the way a person feels and influence his perspective. :po:rt~ 179
