1960-1961 Yearbook

All men are not created equal in every respect. Some, because of greater aoility or more ideal background (or a combination of factors), have grown in certain areas somewhat faster than others - that is, have a broader perspective. Such individuals naturally come to Ule attention of the people with whom they associate and usually to a considerable degree influence them. Thus, those held in high esteem are usually capable people. Some honors depend almost wholly on specific achievement, others more on general impression. But even beauties are often chosen with more in mind than appearance. Fortunately, all of us have inborn potential and can l earn to excel in some way. In that sense, then, we are all "personalities." 103
