The ma rri ed student is to be commended however as h e combines workin g and studying, as well as is hi s w ife who of ten combin es h er household duti es w ith " h elping hubby through school. " "The ca ts go t in our garbage l ast night. " "We need more gravel in our dri veway. " "Our water pipe has frozen ." Such complaints were taken to the Vet Village government which consisted of a Mayor and four coun cilmen . ITowever, many problems we re sol ved wh en th e ma rri ed students reached the l on g awaited day of mov ing into the new apartmenls. The new homes have many conveni ences that wer e unheard of in th e old Ve t Villa ge. In add ition to the Vet Village government, the married s tudents ha ve a social club, Theta Alpha Gamma. The Gree k name suita bly means God. husband, wife, beca use th e purpose is to promote Christian fellows hip among m a rri ed students. Their fell owships include potl uck suppers, song sessions. w iener roasts, pi e su pper s and a banquet.
