In Girl's Sport:s was exciting all tJw way with many veterans striving to hold their own against a host of eager newcomers. Club basketball followed tJle intramural tournament. The club events attracted many parti ci pan ts as this was an excellent way of keeping club spiri t h igh. Other events of the year included ping-pong, tennis, basketball fr ee-throw, badminton, horseshoes, and a swimming meet. Anderson, high point entrant of the track and field day in 1955, returned after a year's absence to challenge Kurz, the 1956 champion. They found plenty of competition for that top spot.
