Fall Sports Program Volleyball is often considered a fill-in between football and basketball, but some of the most exciting moments in a thrill-packed fall schedule were produced in the volleyball games. Many new names began to appear in the sports columns when activity shifted from the gridiron and diamond to the volleyball court. The Turks won the Magyar circuit but the Danes established themselves as the highest calibre team by winning the Celtic league and defeating the Turks in the school championship tussle.
