tlShipwreck Party" At Legion Hut At the traditional informal initiation, held at the Sub-T cabin, eleven pledges were warmly welcomed into the club after a week of rigorous pledging. As a highlight to the social activities, a "Shipwreck Party" was held at the Legion Hut on January 18. All the members grew beards for the event and each member and his date carne dressed as if shipwrecked. Other activities included fielding winning athletic teams, enjoying stag outings, and having a third function with dates at the club cabin. The project was to place a bust of C. L. Ganus, Sr., in the Student Center. Glenda Taylor was chosen as club queen.
