Years Of Work, At Last We're "Dignified Seniors" Senior Class Officers - Lro Powers, Vice-President; Iva Lou Langdon, Secretary-Treasurer; Pete Ward, President. ~iors started their most important year of college with early class meetings. When elections were over Dr. Joe Pryor had been chosen sponsor and Pete Ward elected class prexy. Knowing that busy days lay ahead the class planned an early outing. Amid the beautiful fall colors everyone had an enjoyable afternoon at Letona - even though some had trouble finding the way out and others got stuck in the mud they all managed to be there at meal time. The busy life of a college senior left little time for class functions until again in the spring when another outing was held; and then, too, there was the Junior-Senior Banquet. Who shall forget the fun of that evening with the memories the class history recalled, and, of course, the class prophecy? On that fateful May 31 about one hundred happy seniors were graduated from Harding College. Looking back over these events, and the happy times of the previous three years, each individual in the class of '56 will certainly find many of those cherished moments to remember.
