B. Barton , Jr., Evan Ulrey. With an enrollment of fifty-one students, including the :Vlemphis and Little Rock extensions, the Graduate Department of Bible completed its fourth year. The M.A. Degree is offered in four fields - Biblical, Historical, Doctrinal, and Practical. The department, organized in September, 1952, now has eight professors. Bro. W. B. West, head of the department, is not teaching at present, but is devoting his efforts to the expansion program. Harding's first education classes at the graduate level were offered in June, 1955. During this program's first year, more than thirty-five students have been enrolled for either part or full time study. With five professors, the department offers the M.A. degree in both the elementary and secondary fields, with enough administrative courses being offered to enable students to qualify for a certificate in that field.
