The fellows here are warming up for a game. Participants ~njoyed Volleyball Though less appealing to many sportsmen than other of the major sports, volleyball was enjoyed by a large number of participants. At times interest lagged, but often fast, exciting action was the thing that brought the fellows out to the games. Although many of the men had never been trained in volleybalL exceptional play was often exhibited. As in the past, two leagues were formed, with five teams in each league. In the Canine League the Beagles captured the laurels, while during the same period, the Angoras of the Feline League were victorious. In the play-off game, the Beagles proved themselves the better team and were crowned school champions. Wl,en the battle of the all-stars had subsided the Feline League group had won. As for the class tournament, the Juniors carried off the championship in easy style. Never threatened seriously. they defeated the Faculty in the finals. Volleyball AU-Stars - ROW ONE: Boyd Garner.
