Other activities included a banquet on "Basin Street in New Orleans" with a theme of "Blue Mirage." The Blue Beats and the Tears provided the entertainment and inactive sponsor Dr. J. D. Bales was the featured speaker. Delta Iota's "talking things over" in 8 member's room. Came April, and the D. 1. 's migrated for one day for their annual spring ou ting to Petit Jean State Park to get away from it all for a while. Other activities during the year included stag outings to Bee Rock. Hot dogs and cold drinks always constituted the menu. You can always tell a D. 1. by his bright maroon jacket.
