Something burning? No one seems to care. A formal initiation at the home of Mrs. Eddie Baggett officially opened the Gata door to twelve pledges. During pledge, these lucky twelve carried the name of "Muds" along with their other advantages. These new ones cooperated to present the beautiful "Frosted Gardens" formal banquet at the Rendezvous on February 4. Other of the year' s activities included a gay Christmas party at the home of member Nita Grey, and a cook out for the old members at the sponsor's home. This year's Gata project was the responsibility of sending a boy or girl for two weeks to Camp Shiloh in Mendham, New Jersey.
