Atteberry Unknown to many, the name MEA really stands for the Greek words Mu Eta Adelphian . This social club increased its number by fourteen pledges who were initiated both formally and informally. The formal ceremony took place at the home of club members Pat and Johnice Young, and the informal "party" was staged at Camp Wyldewood. All the MEA's climbed the "Stairway to the Stars" for their annual banquet on January 5 at the Rendezvous. April 25 was the date for the annual club outing which carried the members to Petit Jean State Park. During the year, the MEA's also enjoyed a bunking party at the Young home and a supper at the home of their sponsor, Mrs. James L. Atteberry. 81 Spring .... Jean Dalton ....... Betty Weaver ......
