1954-1955 Yearbook

The three returning Gatas had their hands full with nineteen "Muds" to pledge at the first of the 1954-55 school year. All went well, however, and with all under control, the "oldies" formally initiated their pledges at the home their sponsor, Mrs. Eddie Baggett. "Black Magic" wove the spell for the Gata formal banquet on February 5. President Marjorie Hyatt was mistress of ceremonies, and tllC speaker was Gerald Kenrick. Other ac tivities of the year included an excursion to Blanchard Springs on May 9 for a day of fun and food , and a bunking party at Echo Haven . Betty serves newly fl edged Gatas at fall initiation.
