Historian Marilyn Milam Mrs. Kenneth Davis . Sponsor The calendar of the Delta Chi Omega Social Club was varied and stuffed full of fun for all. The year opened with the admittance of twelve new members to the ranks. These officially became Delta Chis at a formal initiation in the Emerald Room of the Student Center. The Mayfair Hotel provided atmosphere for the annual banquet theme of "Christmas by Candlelight." Spring came and the Delta Chis spread their wings and " n ew the coop" for a day at Camp Tahkodah on May 9. Thp project for the year was a day's work on the new Harding campus park. Two slumber parties, a coke party for members leaving after first semester, and breakfast before the outing at the home of sponsor, Mrs. Kenneth Davis, rounded out the year's activities. 69 Delta Chis seem enraptured by Marilyn's tale at bunking party.
