Under the direction of Mrs. Clifton Fondren, a well-rounded, interesting program consisting of softball, volleyball, tennis, badminton, table tennis, and track was enjoyed by all participants. In addition to the class tournament and the Softball Champions: Melva Lai!, Flora Brown, Joann Holton, Tillie Watson, Alta Cheek. NOT PICTURED: Mary Hill. intramural league play, which are always enjoyed by all, a club tournament was held for the first time. The interest and enthusiasm shown in the tournament was so great that it will probably become an annual event. Amid the heat and excitement of the games, the girls in the different clubs were brought closer together.
