Some things at Harding may be forgotten but not the daily chape l period at 10 o'c lock. All who attended Harding attended chape l and a ll received some bless ing by t hi s service. It wa s not a mere a ssembly; it was a per iod o( worship - a period for God. Not h ing helped so muc h to ins till the Ch ri stian spirit a s th is daily service. An atmosphere of reverence and de votion su rrounds the students and teachers as they worship. Singing, led by Bro. Jess Rhodes, prayer and scripture reading characterize the worship period. Vis ito rs were a lways welcome because o f their inspiring and helpful messages .
