Berryhill, a v",' intramural athletic program was sponsored for boys this year with more students laking part than any other year in the history of th. school. From the very start when the swing of the softball bats initiated this program te the final grunt of the wrestlers which ended it. the boys have taken more active pari and accumulated more interest than ever before As a reward for outstanding athletic prow· ess, Coach Berryhill planned a program by which points would be awarded to those worthy and at the end of the year 15 younQ men received awards. The top ranking s,x men rece ived jackets and the lower 9 f E. ' .V ed medals. The men w ho through their own obi illes placed themselves at the top of the li.. t t make the first six honors are: Jack Lay 65 Clifton Ganus 59, Hugh Rhodes 57, Johnn Greenway 51, Buck Harris and L. E. Pryor Jr. tying for fift h with 44 points each. Other award winners are: Louis Green 4 Excell Berryhill 40, Quentin Gateley 41 , E Berryhill 38, A. W. Bennett 38, Bill Bell ( not in picture ), Doug Harris 37, Go'," Wilks 36, and Dan Spencer 36.
