Rector for the 100-yard dash; Rector for the low and high hurdles; Alstone Tobar and Pitner for the 440; Thompson for brood jump; Waters and Thompson, for pole vault; Boles, Thompson and Pryor, to throw the discus; Cunningham and Thompson to toss the shot; Price and Boles, to hurl the javelin. Others who ore seeking places are Rogers and Medearis, to run relays; Peebles and Gurganus, to run the 880, and Winston Clark to 440 .
