Whitten and Hughes ti ed with a Henderson team in the semi -finals , but las t to them at little Rock in January. 0" February 14 and 15, three men 's teams rep resented Harding in the H enderson invitation tournament. Over a hundred teams, representing seven s tates , were present. On March 4, Pearce and Ragers defeated the Mi ssiss ippi State College team here. In the junior college mee t at little Rock they were eliminated in the finals . Abernathy and McDanie l also par - ticipated in thi s meet and were eliminated in the final s. L. C.
