Before returning Monday, the group will present concerts at leverett's Chapel High School and Big Sandy High. The annual Spring Contert will be on tha Sea_rcy campus at 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 17. • Barmd's spring . . . ~<.?_. concert set~--n< ~i 8 tonight The Harding College Band, fresh from-a four.Q.ay tour to play six concerts, will present th~ annual Spring Concert tonight at 8 o'clock in he main auditorium at the college. The program will include selections by the entire group, by the pep band, stage band and woodwind quintet. The 70-member tour group performed in Arkansas, Ten– nessee, Louisiana and Texas during the tour. This year's repertoire includes several special numbers especially to emphasize the Bicentennial year. "The '76 Bicentennial Salute" by Jack Lee and the ever-popular "Stars and Stripes Forever" by John Philip Sousa are among the favorites. Trombonist Brad Dell, a senior business major from Freeport, Illinois, is also featured in a solo ·of "Bluebells of Scotland." The Band will present an outdoor pops concert on April 1 and will perform in the Bicen– tennial concert by all Harding music groups on April 27. / t I
