Oh no not the catalog for "BOOKS EVERY COLLEGE LIBRARY SHOULD HAVE" Steps to use when shifting the card catalog 1. Measure all the existing cards in each drawer with ruler by inches 2. Add all inches together 3. Count number of drawers 4. Divide number of inches by number of drawers 5. Number found will be number of inches of cards to place in each drawer 6. Start removing cards from first drawer until maximum inches has been obtained. Note you may have to either remove or add cards. 7. Continue this procedure until all cards have been shifted. Note many drawers will have to have cards removed from front and back. BE SURE TO KEEP THEM IN ALPHA ORDER.
