Winnie Bell Going Away Party

HARDING====, UN IV ER 5 IT Y DEPARTMENT OF MUSIC May 22, 2007 Dear Winnie, Searcy will never be the same without you. When we first met, you were a young woman with all kinds of energy. I remember, well, how you dedicated yourself to the smooth operation of the Harding Library. You knew every detail. It was obvious that you loved your work. It was also obvious that you cared about your family. My welcome to Searcy included visiting with your mother and Mildred. Their talk about Waxahachie, Texas and the Collins St. Bakery were memorable. They lived in such a convenient ~pot on campus, Sewell Hall. Because you were here, Harding University is a better place. Tennessee will be the recipient of a model citizen, but if you decide to return to Searcy, we will receive you. Meanwhile, if you plan a visit to Arkansas, my home is open to you. e an~::~ w~shes, Patricia J. Cox, Ph.D. Professor of Music ~oxrfiJ, harding.edu (501) 279 4479 BOX 10767 · SEARCY.
