. David Burks announced the.naming of the university's science building to ~nor a professor in the de~ent. The building will be "The Joseph E. Pryor ScienceCenter" in tribute to a 45-year member of the science faculty who retired at the close of the spring semester. The announcement was made as Pryor, who retired ear– lier as academic dean of the universi- . ty and .also as .a vice president for academic affair~, was about · to address the 340 graduates. · ''The Boanl ofTrustees has recom– mended this ·announcement .as an appropriate means of honoring one who has been totally committed to the mission and goals of· Harding• University," Burks said "We feel this is a fitting gesture for Dr. Joe, a scientist himself who has influenced numerous science students and stu– dents of other areas through the years." . The ~ielx:e building was erected in 1967 and expanded in 1984. One wing of the building has been deigned ..The R.T.
