The ACHS includes honor societies fi:om a<;ademic discip– lines and university-wide academ– ic and leadership honor socteites. Representatives from 45 member societies attended the meeting. ·:Blueprints for Excellence" was the theme of the meeting which was designed to provlde honor society officers with guidelines and lnformaUon for Improving honorsocietyoperations. Dr. Pryor, who was accompan– ied by his wife Bessie Mae, seived as Secretary-Treasurer after which he was named the first Executive Director, a posltlon he nowholds. The retired academic dean of Hardingwho ls in his 45th year as a member of the Harding faculty was a charter member of Hard– ing's Alpha Honor Society.
