Pryor Scrapbook Dr. Joe, 1986

Dr. Joseph Pryor Searcy Arkansas 72143 Dear Dr. Joe: 2661 Paden Place Birmingham, Alabama 35226 February 21, 1986 Thanks for being the person you are. I give you and Bessie Mae credit for making my freshman year memorable. You noticed right away that my background in chemistry was poor. I was discouraged. You invited me over to your home to study, and Bessie Mae prepared desserts. Wow! Learning was never more enjoyable! I got to know you better when Ruthie was editor, and I was her assistant. Getting to know you better yet when I was editor. Remember? We changed the size of the cover on the Petit Jean. We had so many good times that year. Working with you was truly a pleasure. We enjoyed your visits in Tuscumbia so much. My parents spoke of you and your family with tenderness. They looked forward to your Christmas cards with the pictures of the children. Thanks for being the person you are. Thanks for the influence you have been in my life. You are special, and I cherish your friendship. aq In Christian love, Ann Morris Quenelle Edi tor, 1951
