Harding University David B. Burks Dean, School of Business Director of American Studies February 25, 1986 Mr. and Mrs. Joseph E. Pryor Box 773 Campus Mail Dear Dr. Joe and Mrs. Pryor, Educating for Eternity Congratulations on your many years as faculty advisor and special assistant to the all American Petit Jean Yearbook. Your record of achievement in this regard is unexcelled in the Nation. On a personal note, I want to express my deep appreciation to your for the profound influence you have had on my life. You were the first individual I met on the faculty at Harding when I enrolled as a freshman. You were the reason I stayed after my freshman year. My experiences on the yearbook were extremely helpful to me in my personal growth and development. Relationships established with you and others on the staff were special and remain special to me today. Please know that I appreciate more than I can say your dedication to Christian education and to working with young people in so many dif– ferent ways. It has been a real joy to return to the faculty and work with you as a colleague after having the opportunity to work with you as a student on the yearbook staff. You are a marvelous Christian man and I appreciate the work which you and Mrs. Pryor have done together for Harding and for Christian education. Best wishes to you as you continue to work for good in the Kingdom. Warmest personal regards, David B. Burks David B.
