BOLES HOME, QUINLAN, TEXAS 75474 Alan Sowders, Superintendent 214 883-2204 or 883-2205 April 8, 1982 TNT Social Club Box 776 Harding University Searcy, Arkansas 72143 Gentlemen: One thing I guess I will always remember about TNT and Dr. Joe was the night I was accepted into the club. We were at Wyldewood and had just gone through rough initiation and pledge week. I was called before the K-court. Dr. Joe stated very soberly that I had not been accepted. The feelings of defeat and emptiness can not be described. However, Dr. Joe, as the custom had always been, called me back saying I was a member of TNT. He then reminded everyone we were close to the cliff not to walk over in that direction. My comment was "just a few minutes ago I was almost ready to jump." The next four years in TNT were extremely enjoyable to me and the friend– ships established will last for eternity. JLW/1w ) Williams Social Services
