Pryor Scrapbook Dr. Joe, 1982

Dear Dr. Joe: Nick Lee 2700 Hartford Drive Nashville, Tennessee 37210 (615) 833-1280 March 20, 1982 I first remember meeting you in the latter part of the summer of 1976 when I transfered from Ole Miss to Harding. You helped me get approval to enter Harding under the catalog of 1973 ; that catalog being the one I entered in Ole Miss. That decision allowed me to get around your physical science course and Business Calculus which I did not want to take. Thanks! Memories range in different catagories but they all are fun memories of you. I .recall your house during first bid invitations and how all the guys that wanted to be in TNT were there in their Sunday best. Your house was packed; with people out in the yard and you getting around to as many of them as you could. I also think of the many times that you were slipped a "staged announcement" during chapel that would catch you off guard and get a laugh out of the students. YOUR HATS- during TNT's moot court- the many different ones that you wore were a riot to see. I think that that was one of the highlights for the members, to see what hat you would wear. The best memory that I have of you is the total dedication to the students, College church of Christ members and other people that you came· into contact with,in helping the come closer to God. Your example of christian servitude will stay with me a long long time, Here's to you Dr. Joe and your bow ties. May there always be a Dr. Joe Pryor at Harding to make it great and keep it humble. Thanks for the memories that you have given to me and to so many of the men of TNT over the years. Your brother in Christ, Nick Nick Lee
