Pryor Scrapbook Dr. Joe, 1982

Dr. Joe Pryor, Dean Harding University Searcy, AR 72143 Dear Dr. Joe, 319 S. Florida Columbus, KS 66725 October 1982 As I reflect upon your upcoming retirement, I do so with a sense of gratitude for your years of service to the Lord, his church, and Harding. No doubt this unselfish service will continue even after your retirement. But I also have a deep sense of loss. For me, as I think of Harding, you are as much a part of her as the "lily pond" and white swings. You made my time there more enjoyable and I was greatly encouraged by the personal interest which you took in me. I and thousands like me will always be in your debt. We can only wish you and your family the very best in coming years. Just as you are inextricably tied with Harding, I feel that you are an "institution" as far as TNT Social Club is concerned. It was always an honor to have the Dean as a sponsor, but the active interest and participation which you took in the club was especially appreciated. I shall always admire the courage of your wife in having 100 or more young men into her home every year. And, of course, "rough night" will just not be the same anymore without you and your stovepipe hat at the Kangaroo Court. Many more things must be left unsaid. But rest assured that your– life of self-sacrifice and Christian service will not soon be forgotten. May God bless you and your family richly, Kenneth V. (Ken) Neller, TNT President 1975-76
